So your web url has to be renewed each year, but you can purchase it for up to 10 years so you don't lose it. If you happen to allow it to lapse, you have about 30 days to recover it. After that time, you will have to pay a lot to get the name back and/or wait for 90 days for it to become available. You will risk losing it if you don't grab it back as soon as it is available. In short, do not let your web url lapse if you want to keep the name.

Everyone that wants their website to be "live" has to pay a hosting fee for the site, every single month. We charge $20 per month, payable in one annual payment of $240.00.
